The fascinating polar bear is the subject of our drawing in this article. The massive, white creature native of the Arctic region is a great swimmer and feeds mostly on seals. Let’s get into the step by step of sketching this marine mammal.
Step 1: Draw a circle and an oval in contact.
Step 2: Draw another smaller oval intersecting the bigger one.
Step 3: Make intersecting lines on it.
Step 4: Now sketch the guides for the legs.
Step 5: Draw small ovals at their base.
Step 6: Sketch the nose.
Step 7: Give shape to the right side of the face.
Step 8: Make the other side of the face.
Step 9: Detail the left ear and make the eyes.
Step 10: Make the mouth.
Step 11: Give shape to the neck.
Step 12: Draw an arch for the back.
Step 13: A serrated line is drawn for its derriere.
Step 14: Start drawing its hind leg with a curved line and the front leg with a serrated line.
Step 15: Complete the stout left anterior leg and the tummy.
Step 16: Finish the left posterior leg with curved lines and the furry chest.
Step 17: Make the right front leg in a similar fashion.
Step 18: Sketch the tiny amount of the right hind leg that is visible.
Step 19: Draw snowy peaks in the background.
Step 20: Finish off with some water meeting the snowed land.
You could color the surroundings in blues and grays and leave some areas white. The bear, itself, can be left without any color or you could do with some gray shading. Your efforts for making this drawing perfect could invoke the animal-loving spirit in you.
