Books are essential to student life. Love them or hate them, you can’t deny the supreme importance of books in a child’s world. From a very young age, we start a relationship with books. Wouldn’t it be great if we can shape the structure on canvas? The drawing involves simple straight and curved lines and is not complex at all.
Step 1:Draw two rectangles adjacent to each other.
Step 2:Make arcs at the top and bottom.
Step 3:Join them by slanting lines.
Step 4:Make the thickness of the book.
Step 5:Make arcs at the bottom to signify the thickness of the book.
Step 6:Sketch a tiny arc signifying the book spine and draw small arcs for the pages.
Step 7: Give shape to slanting lines on the sides.
Step 8: Sketch arcs at the bottom.
Step 9: Make a semicircular structure denoting the spine of the book.
Step 10:Draw small straight lines at the sides denoting the pages.
Step 11:Color the cover of the book.
The open book is blank and ready for something to be written on it. After coloring, you can put a few words or sentences of your choice on the blank pages. It is quite a thick book and has a bright cover. The main emphasis of the activity would be to sketch the straight and curved lines perfectly. Children can take the help of a ruler for drawing the straight lines.
Nice, it really helped with a school project!
