Gear up to draw a popular plant of the desert. Yes, you guessed it right. It is the succulent cactus. Its arms come out of the sides and extend upwards. Linear ribs fill its body that is dotted with spikes or thorns. The peculiar shape of this plant will be a big hit with the children.
Step 1: Draw the fleshy, tapering trunk.
Step 2: Curved guides for the arms come out of the sides.
Step 3: The trunk is detailed to be uneven.
Step 4: The uneven arms are drawn now.
Step 5: Then comes the turn of sketching the ribs.
Step 6: Draw the ribs on the arms.
Step 7: Start making the thorns that look like grass.
Step 8: Cover the entire body with the thorns.
