How to Draw a Volleyball

Kids are greatly attracted to the colorful volleyball. They like to bounce it around and hit it hard to the opponent team. Naturally, capturing it on paper would get them excited. The success of the drawing exercise is heavily dependent on getting the circle (step 1 below) right.

Step 1: Draw a circle.

Step 2: Divide it into 3 sections by straight lines diverging from the center.

Step 3: Using them as guides, draw 3 curved lines.

Step 4: Make 2 curved lines in the bottom section.

Step 5: Similarly design the right section of the ball.

Step 6: The left section has a similar pattern.

The volleyball sketch is now complete. You can color the different sections in bright colors for an attractive canvas. You can also fill it in a single color if you wish to. You might need to try it several times before you get it perfect. So be open to improving your drawing skills in every attempt.
