Cinderella, the first name that comes in mind when you think about princesses is at the top of the list when it comes to working on drawing projects with Disney characters. If you are trying and trying to draw a picture of Cinderella, neater than the one your sister does, then follow the step-by-step instructions below and see how it turns out.
Step 1
As with all the other character drawings, start with an oval shape for the head. Then, follow the lines in Picture 1 to draw an outline for the upper body.
Step 2
Next, draw the skirt of her gorgeous gown, just as you draw the skirt of any long dress you draw. Also, make small ovals at the sides for the puffy sleeves (the left one is only partially visible).
Step 3
Here, check Picture 3 and draw the guidelines for the facial features in the oval made for the head. Also, don’t forget to make the lines for her arms with tiny ovals for the hands.
Step 4
Once the whole outline is done, start the main drawing with the perfect updo you have adored ever since you set eyes on them. And don’t forget the headband.
Step 5
Now, work over the oval made in step one to trace the lines of your Cinderella’s face.
Step 6
Next, it’s time for her eyes, nose and lips, with her sweet smile.
Step 7
Follow Picture 7 and work on the upper part of her dress and her sleeves.
Step 8
Remember the lines made for the arms in step 3? It’s time to transform them into your Cinderella’s real arms covered in gloves, starting with the right one. Don’t forget the ring.
Step 9
Now the left arm and hand.
Step 10
This step is fun as now you will be working over the skirt of her dress, first the upper part.
Step 11
Here, work on the lower part, adding the waves at the end so your dress looks graceful and magical.
Step 12
Now, take a look at the drawing – is there any part you forgot to work on? Otherwise your drawing is done! Go get your crayons as now you will be coloring your drawing, bringing your Cinderella to life with her glowing blue gown and golden blonde hair.
To make it a bit more creative, you can also consider giving her a makeover. What color do you think she would like to wear apart from that shade of blue? Try new combinations and see how she looks in her designer royal gown.
