The Lego Batman is a child’s favorite toy. They play with it to recreate their favorite scenes from the movie of the same name. This would pique their interest in drawing a Lego Batman on canvas. Involving quite a number of steps, it demands patience and takes the help of guides to make the activity smooth.
Step 1: Draw the angular outline for the head.
Step 2: This box-shaped structure is the outline for the body.
Step 3: Intersecting lines on the head act as guides for the facial features. Rectangles acting as outlines for the legs are drawn.
Step 4: Sketch the neck and guides for the hands on both the sides of the body.
Step 5: Make the protruding ears.
Step 6: Draw the opening for the mouth and the nose part of the mask.
Step 7: Draw the angular brows.
Step 8: Sketch the large eyes and a curved mouth.
Step 9: Draw the cape that has got an undulating bottom.
Step 10: Make an oval shape on the chest and complete the utility belt.
Step 11: Draw the Batman logo within the oval and make an arch-shaped structure below it.
Step 12: Curves and rectangles create the abs.
Step 13: Sketch intersecting arches within the structure sketched in step 11.
Step 14: The arms are made as cylindrical structures.
Step 15: The left U-shaped hand is made.
Step 16: Now the right hand is drawn on similar lines.
Step 17: Detail the legs with straight horizontal lines. They end in curves.
Step 18: Color to complete the figure.
Note that the robot-like figure greatly relies on straight and angular lines and curves. Though it is almost completely covered in a suit and mask the facial and bodily features are visible. It would be a simple exercise once they get the basic outline correct.
